Dorie Addy-Crow Dressage Inc.

Dorie Addy- Crow has been training and competing as a professional in Dressage for twenty plus years.  She has competed in Region One for the past 15 years as well as traveling to Florida for the winter show season.  Dorie is a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalist. She has worked 20 years as a trainer in sales barns riding hundreds of wonderful horses from Training level to Grand Prix. She has worked for years with many top trainers believing in on going help and education as a key factor for a successful trainer and competitor. Dorie has won many Region One and Region Three titles, as well as winning Fourth Level, Prix St-Georges, and I-1 at Devon and competing in the I-1 Championships in Gladstone NJ on Karajan. Dorie and Rotterdam are the 2007 Region One Open Prix St-Georges champions.

She has qualified for the National Young horse Championship in Kentucky in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Dorie competed in the 2004 Young Horse World Championship in Verden and the 2004 National Young Horse Championships in Kentucky on Sir Sinclair. She qualified for the National Championship in 2005 on Sir Sinclair and 2006 on Ricochet.

In September 2007 we traveled to the National Young horse Championship in Kentucky to compete in the newly created Developing Horse Class on Rotterdam.  The Developing horse class is decided by a combined score of two tests. The first day a modified Prix St. George test, "Developing Horse test", is performed counting forty percent of the final average.  The second day the Prix St-Georges test is performed counting for sixty percent of the average.

Dorie campaigned several young horses in 2007. Two of which are Hielke Van de Binnenvelder a five year old Friesian Gelding owned by Altersgait LLC and, B.W. Forte a five year old Oldenburg gelding owned by Ms. Robin Lubert. Both young horses obtained outstanding show records and much needed show experience. Hielke and Forte both qualified for the Region One Open Training Level Championships with scores above the Sixty Eight percent required for open competitors.

In 2008 Dorie can add a third win in the coveted Prix St. Georges Challenge  held in Lexington VA on Eliko Maximum owner Altersgait Farm. Rotterdam also finished fourth in the same class.
